I want to let you know that Harmonica Jim will not me performing with group this summer. Jim is truly a class act and we love him like family. He is not able to maintain the same level of involvement in the band at this time. We will be doing the shows as a four piece. Thanks for your continued support of MHaTNs.

We are proud to be part of the Blues For the Gulf CD project. One of our songs, from the Recipe for the Blues album, "Miss Katrina", was selected to be one of 21 songs featured on the digitally released Blues for the Gulf album. All of the proceeds from the digital record go to assisting the people of the Gulf Coast states who are suffering from environmental and economic devastation. We are going to Mariposa, Ca. to perform at the Arts Park as part of the Summer Concert Series. It's this Saturday July 17th 7-9. I have a lot of history in Mariposa. My family is part of the Southern Sierra Miwok Band.(Native Americans) Also, my great grandfather Archie Leonard was one of the first park rangers in Yosemite(National Park). My family still owns land right at the edge of town. Mariposa is part of our family story, we have deep roots up there. I look forward to seeing my cousins, tribal…

John Brigham is a great guy and an awesome photographer. He took all of the photos used in the artwork for "Recipe for the blues", including the cover. John also provided the cover shot for our first album "Going Home". From laying belly down in the middle of a country highway to standing on the top of a wobbly 12 foot ladder, John goes the distance to get the shot.
